who we are
Artescan is an engineering survey company which was established in April 2003 to provide 3D laser scanning & photogrammetry data acquisition and processing services, software development, 3D textured modelling and 2D/3D Spatial Information Systems, in the domains of engineering and architecture, from data acquisition to final products.
Our teams in Portugal and Morocco (since 2009) have several survey engineers, civil engineers, software engineers, geographers, lawyers, CAD designers, land surveyors and marketing personal.
The company have been surveying, modelling, monitoring and implementing spatial 2D and 3D Information Systems in a wide range of natural and built environments such as roads, speedways, rail, tunnels, dams, bridges, cathedrals, archaeological sites, buildings, cities, volcanic caves, slopes, quarries, electrical substations, industrial environments, and so forth.
From the acquired raw data Artescan can provide either conventional engineering documents, such as contour lines, plans, architectural facade drawings and cross-sections, or innovative engineering documents, like detailed 3D textured models, structural monitoring data, orthoimagery, 3D information systems, 3D PDF files, videos, animations and Google Earth 3D or 2D data integration.
Since 2003 Artescan has finished hundreds of projects in Europe, from Sweden to Portugal, and in Africa, from Morocco to Mozambique.
Artescan is the first company in Europe able to offer services with the state of the art, world best performance mobile scanning system, the new Riegl VMX-250, for corridor survey projects as roads, rail, coast line, city modelling, etc.
